Sound randomly shuts off when viewing DVR using XBOX ONE as the central piece to home receiver ...

I have a very perplexing problem. I have a Direct TV TIVO brand DVR that i run thru the ONE. I use the direct tv provided controller to view my TV. Now periodically while viewing the TV video starts stuttering badly and stops starts stops starts repeatedly
for maybe 10 seconds until it starts working properly again. The sound also just simply turns off. All xbox sounds dings pings and the Tv audio simply fails to work. But if i reset the DVR OR the Xbox the sound returns. Ive replaced the patch cord between
the two devices so its not that. The sound only goes out when I'm fast forwarding thru a prerecorded show typically and never fails during an xbox game nor when I'm watching "live" tv on my DVR. Its just when i start fast forwarding thru prerecorded shows
that causes the entire system to go haywire.(stuttering video, complete system sound failure that can't be fixed without resetting something) I do have fairly frequent game freezes when trying to load games that require resets but that just may be par for
the device. But I'm having to unplug and replug my xbox in several times a day now and its starting to drive me nuts. Any ideas thoughts or clarifying questions i can help with?

    :)

  2. XBox One Shuts Down My Home Theater Receiver

here is a description of my issue.

I have my xbox one connected to a home theatre receiver. My home theater receiver is equipped with an internal amp protection circuit. the amp protection circuit protects the receiver from power surges and it will shut off the receiver when it detects
a power surge. when i use my xbox one it will cause the home theater's amp protection to shut off my home theater receiver

the xbox one remains on however.

Anyone have a similar issue and know what the fix is?

DVR Play Stutters or skips ahead

I have the exact same issue as described here. When my Xbox One is in line between my Samsung TW Cable DVR, and my AV Receiver, the DVR randomly skips during playback of recorded TV. Run the Samsung directly into my AV receiver, no issues. You would think
that since the Xbox One is first in line, nothing should interfere with the cable signal. Obviously there is something happening on the HDMI interface between the two devices that is causing the Samsung DVR issues.

Xbox 360 Wireless Headset Causes Me to Disconnect From Xbox Live

Yea, this has just happened to me, however, my new MW3 headset isnt the problem.

mine literally just done it for no reason.

i was in a party, laughing and what not, and there were no problems with my mic.

i got kicked off xbl for no reason, and was told i need a wireless adapter to connect wirelessly. (no duh).

good thing the 360 S has one of those built in!

on top of that issue, ive noticed that my mic has randomly shut itself OFF while im using it, making the shut down gun shot sound that it makes by rather A) pressing the button to shut if off/on or B) when you shut the console off, so it has nothing
to connect to, so it shuts down.

    1) Im using it on my face. im sure im not pressing the button.

    2) my xbox is on. im using it. why would it decide to say, "ooh, the xbox is off. better shut down."

    Problem with game dvr/upload

Glad im not the only person with this issue. Ive found a quick fix to it I guess. When switching between aps and games I shut down the ones im not using anymore. When running many apps at once it effects the game dvr sound or wont record at all.

    Glitch

    Hey there StandardCat555.

To clarify, is your Xbox One closing out of games randomly or are you receiving an error message? Also, what happens when you try to speak to your friends?

Please make sure to give your Xbox One a power cycle (hold down power button for 8-10 seconds until it shuts off completely), then give it another try. Let us know how it goes.
