Sound problems

Just like to report that there seems to be some issues on the sound effects on my tablet after finishing a daily challenge (i.e. the fireworks immediately after and the flow of coins towards the progress bar). 95% of the time there would be no sound, while
sometimes out of nowhere the normal sound effect (e.g. sharp bling sounds) comes out.

The other Xbox games (mahjong, solitaire) has no such problem on my system. This behaviour seemed to start appearing since I updated to Windows 8.1 and also updated to the latest version of Taptiles via the App Shop.

if you are using hdmi cable or av ect.. i would try using another one to rule out the problem it is not just a split wire or anything under the casing of the cable.. also i would suggest going on to system setting and making sure that the audio setting are
right for the type of television you are using and also the cables too as all three different cables use different audio settings

 

Ah this issue was resolved in an update in December so you must not have the most recent version of Taptiles. Especially after you upgrade, you usually have some optional updates that are waiting that can actually negatively impact your apps. Try this:

1. Press the Windows key
2. Type in Windows Update
3. Under the search bar you see on the right, choose Check for Updates
4. In the Windows Update screen, press the Check Now button
5. Even if it doesn't seem to find any updates, click on View Details
6. Install any updates you see that haven't been installed- including optional ones
   
7. Restart using the restart option from the shut down menu.

Just to make sure that your downloads themselves aren't stuck in the store, then try this:

1. Press Windows Key + R
2. In the box, type wsreset.exe and press Enter
3. This will relaunch the Windows Store
4. Hover over the right-hand side to bring up the charm bar
5. Choose Settings
6. Choose App Updates
7. Choose Sync licenses

That should fix it!

Follow all your steps. Sadly nothing changes. I'm 100% sure my Taptiles is the latest version and all downloads have been installed. It's okay the sound effect is not a critical part of the game so I'll bear with it till the next update.

Still not working. My Taptiles version is 1.8.0.31101. Is that the latest version?

I installed the game when my system was Win8.0, then upgraded to Win8.1. Since then the sound stopped working. Could this be the issue? Rolling back to Win8.0 is out of question here. :-(
