    Sound output too low.

Does anyone else think the sound output on this game is too low? With everything set to max and even supercrunch it is still very quiet. When I switch games I have to turn my speakers or headphones down again as they were up at full and still too quiet for
    Black ops.

    :)

    Is this normal noise level?

You haven't specified which Xbox, 360 or One, but I'm assuming you're talking about the 360. None of these consoles are supposed to be silent, although a few of them are designated as low sound output. When you do anything on an Xbox, the console is going to make sound, whether it's the fans, an optical drive, or another part of the machine. I wouldn't worry about it too much unless it's overly loud or sounds off.

    Sound output

You should select MULTI CH IN as your surround sound mode on the Denon. This will provide surround sound, if you choose either 5.1 or 7.1 uncompressed audio on the Xbox One. This is the option that is available because is it an uncompressed PCM multi-channel
source that is coming into the AVR. Just make sure you don't have STEREO selected as your mode on the Denon. This should provide higher quality sound than DTS as it is uncompressed.

This is if you use HDMI for your audio. If you use an optical cable then your only options are stereo uncompressed and DTS Digital Sound. Then your only option is to use DTS for surround sound. It sounds like you are using HDMI as your receiver is giving
you the option of multi-channel sound.

just got the monitor the sound not working

If there is no audio on your Amazon G4 monitor after the update, check the sound settings on your computer and monitor. Make sure that the monitor is selected as the default audio output and that the volume is not muted or too low. If the problem persists, try checking the monitor's connections and, if applicable, the audio cables.

    Steps to check and resolve:

    1. Computer sound settings:

Access the sound settings of your operating system (Windows, macOS, etc.).

Check if the monitor is listed as an audio output option and that it is selected as the default device.

Make sure the volume is not muted or too low.

If the monitor is not listed, try uninstalling and reinstalling your computer's audio drivers, or check if the monitor has a dedicated audio device, which must have drivers installed as well, according to ASUS.

    2. Monitor sound settings:

If your monitor has sound buttons or settings, make sure the audio is not muted or the volume is set too low.

If there is a sound settings menu, make sure the audio output is selected correctly (e.g., HDMI, DisplayPort).

Auto latency mode greyed out through reciever

Xbox settings > display & sound > video output > video modes > then make sure that "Allow auto low-latency mode" is on by having the box check marked.

    the size of the xboxone

A big fan. Big fan = low noise output as it can spin more slowly. It will keep the console much cooler too. The PS4 is obviously more likely to overheat as it is smaller (I would presume)

    Xbox 360S power brick fan/whirring

Does the power brick out put match your xbox 360's input?

If the power bricks output is too low it will have to work harder to supply the power, make sure they both match

    No sound output

I could try the 5.1 setting but I didn't use it as I'm only playing through the TV stereo speakers.

The TV has 4 HDMI and the Xbox works with none of them, but the Sky box and Playstation do work.

    The is a Toshiba 37BV701.
