Sound out of sync to picture!

Why is the sound out of sync on all of my apps such as you tube and Channel 4 demand?

When I watch any of the "entertainment " apps and Blu-rays the there is a very big lag in the sound to picture!

I've not rented a movie yet from xbox live, but doubt I will if it has the same issues.

Sound and picture out of sync when use GameDVR

I have used the GameDVR and have noticed that the sound and picture are out of sync. Has anyone else had this issue. If so, has anyone seen a solution on how to fix it?

Lip sync issues with DVD

Picture is perfectly fine , put a new optical cable for the Surround sound , sounds so much better but still have the lip sync problem, i do think its a common problem

Go in to settings and select blu-ray. There should be and options in there to adjust how the blu-ray discs are played. If nothing else work you can try holding the power button down on the front of the console until it shuts off then unplug it from the outlet
for 30sec then plug back in and power back on and hopefully everything will be working properly again.

In Quebec, the Videotron cable compagny don't have 1080p...its 720p or 1080i...

That why i say i will try 720p... !!!

Same issues here. I can sympathize. I also just do not understand not being able to watch tv with the xbox powered down.

Completely powering down the xbox and turning it back on always works for me to get tv coming through again. The problem seems to be re-occuring every day. I'm about to just skip the whole thing and have the xbox and directv dish on different receiver
inputs. Going through the xbox interface to watch tv is turning out to be just a gimmicky novelty that grows old pretty quick.

I'm not sure any of you are also having this issue too.....whenever tv quits working the kinnect also quits responding to voice commands until the xbox is reset. The tv signal and kinnect malfunction are always together.

Got the same problem...i have a freezing pricture with no sounds...the console work great...but not the TV apps!! I waiting right now to ralk with Microsoft....lets see!!

Well after a couple of hours with a tech from Microsoft I am back up and running. The tech I spoke with had not even heard of this issue but was able to get this fixed by returning unit to factory settings and letting it re download the updates. Soon as
that was done It was fixed and is again working perfectly. Hope this helps someone out.
