    What kind of sound card does xbox one X have?

    It sounds really clear when I put my optical line from my sound bar to my xbox one X instead of my TV.

    Im pretty sure my tv doesn't have that great of a sound car considering it's a just a 4k tv. but the sound processor on the Xbox one X is first class.

    no sound on my xbox

    turned my xbox on updated it then no sound none of my games have any sound all playing no error messages connected by hdmi using surround sound with an optical lead even if i turn surround sound of still no sound very frustrating as it was all working before

    I do recommend to follow all steps that are been described in
    This Troubleshooting Guide    .

    If this Guide was unusefull to you, I suggest to wipe out your HDMI Cable and insert your AV cabel in your TV and Xbox.

    If that still doesn't work for you, I hope to hear from you soon.

    Hello Chris, when you say the console has no sound, are you using it on a TV or monitor?

    Are you using any sound system, such as soundbar or receiver?

    Have you tried any procedure on the console, if so, which one?
