    So i live in a home where we share the living room and they like partying so my xbox always plays music. So how can i play music for everyone using spotify through audio reciever Or hdmi or watever you want to call for example and while i do that i can play my games and the game sounds comre through my headset only? Because nights wen they want to listen to music i have to put game sounds off to not disturb them! So it would be handy to have both music and game sounds playinging at the same just through the differnt recievers? Is that even possible? If the answer is no please explain why? Thanks. In advance for your anwers and solutions. And if there are none heres an idea to add to future devices because im sure im not the only one who experiences this.

    This is not possible because you can't split the audio from the apps and games, the only Audio that can be split on the console are apps audio from games and apps audio

    Hello again, there are two more possibilities, if your monitor has no sound output, the first are hdmi spliters with sound output, you can easily find on e-bay.

    And the second would be to connect a sound cable with P3 connector at the output of the controller and connect the other end of the cable on your audio device.

    Hello Barry, in your description it says that it tried to connect from the TV to the HDMI Spliter, if so, TV`s do not have HDMI Out, it is rare that one does.

    What you have to do is connect the two consoles to the HDMI in, of your Spliter and the HDMI Out output of the Spliter to connect to the TV.

    Note: I don't know what kind of Spliter it has, but many are not just image replicators, there is a difference between Spliter and switch, for your case as you have consoles but your TV only has one HDMI input you need an HDMI Switch
