    Sound issue when headsets disconnected


    Hi all

    Having an issue whereby the sound goes fuzzy when a headset is disconnected.

    So I was playing with the Xbox wired headset connected, no sound issues. I then disconnect the headset to play through the tv and the sound starts to go fuzzy and distorted.

    I then plug back in my headset only to find that is now distorted too.

    So basically if I use a headset I can’t disconnect the audio from it otherwise it all goes pear shaped.

    Anyone else getting this? ‍♂️

    kinect adapter for xbox one s ringing noise while turn on

    does the console still make the ringing sound when you completely disconnect the Kinect? If not, it could be a power issue causing feedback between the kinect and the headset. If it still is ringing in the headset with the Kinect unplugged it could be
    a different issue altogether. Can you give us a little more info to go on?

    When you plug the headset in does it give you a little menu on pop out window to control the volume of chat and game? If so the sound bar is disconnecting because it is trying to use the headset instead.

    Okay, so it sounds like you're being disconnected then reconnected to group chat, correct? Are you seeing anything on screen, or is the sound cutting out? If the latter, what happens when you try a different headset?

    It isn't the xbox one s. I mention about the kinect adapter. It's the adapter it self.
