Sound issue in the Xbox Game Bar app

I'm pretty sure that the Xbox Console Companion app is now outdated. You should probably use the new Xbox app.

Is your issue related to using your mic in the actual app or your mic using Game Bar?

Game Bar party chat is much better than the app's built-in party chat and will most definitely pick up your mic.

(You can activate Game Bar by pressing Win + G)

You can also change your default mic in the Settings in the Sound tab.

I have a lg Dolby sound bar. It dose the same . I had to put the xbox directly into the hdmi in on the sound bar. But it knocks normal tv sound a bit of .

Have you downloaded the lg sound bar app . You can play about with the sync 🤔

Sounds like an app bug. Have you tried re installing Game Bar?

Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I understand there is an issue with adjusting sound. To help clarify the issue:

• Are you using the volume bar in the Dashboard for the Pandora App?

I recommend to try the following when the app is in use:

1. Xbox button > click on Pandora app > Adjust sound

If the issue persists, try
re-installing the Pandora App.

Give this a try and let us know the results.

Not all Game Pass games have achievements like the retail release. That being said, have you tried resetting the Xbox Beta app, Game Bar app and the Xbox Companion app. Reset them all before going back into any of them, then start signing back into each
app one at a time. Sounds like a sync issue. Also, post this on the Feedback Hub.
