Sound freezes and glitches when hitting home

I downloaded NHL 20 today and every time I hit the home button, prompt a letter entry box or a notification comes in the sound glitches/freezes and the only way to reset is to stop and restart the entire game.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times. Deleted another game I recently purchased and unplugged for minutes and repowered twice.

My friends dont have this same issue and its driving me nuts. Seems to be caused by the xbox system.

Anyone have any other ideas?

Did you try a soft reset?

Go to system settings and select reset console.

You can select keep games and saved data to keep your installed content and that will freshen up your console

Sounds like you are one of the lucky. I played for five days and it locked up. Talking about glitches, I cant even launch the game. I would love to at this point be able to play through the minor glitches.

Bring up the game hit continue and it goes back to home page.

Try this: While in the game with the sound glitch happening hit the guide button to go to the dashboard, then simply go back to the game by clicking the square where you see Destiny. (where it shows the game being installed) This has worked for me when I
get the sound glitch.
