SOUND DISTORTION WHEN PLAYING GAMES.

hi, I've recently bought a laptop and i have installed windows 11 on it the laptop model is dell latitude 7480.

when i downloaded games, they have noise distortion. what i mean by that?

my gpu is hd 520. i feel that maybe the sheer lacking in the graphics area and the in compatibility is what's leading to this. I could be wrong given i searched pc requirements for this game on reliable sources and they all gave me a green light.

is there a way to fix this issue?

Does the distorted sound continue when you play a game, or stream content?

I enable the spatial sound and it started working. I'm still curious why it wasn't working though. Thanks for the help mate. Have a nice day.

Glad it solved the problem. Curious because usually disabling it solves the issue

Are you using the onboard speakers or something else? Do you have anything like Dolby Atmos or DTS installed? Do you have windows spatial, audio enabled?

I did both of the aforementioned "things to try". Both do not work. I did not receive and errors when I updated and it updated silently.

The sound distortion happens when I turn the Xbox off, and then turn it back on. To remedy, I do a hard reset and the sound is fine. After the Xbox is turned off again, and back on, the sound distortion happens again.

Cycle for Example:

Power On -> Sound is Fine -> Power Off -> Power On -> Sound Distortion -> Hard Reset -> Power On -> Sound is Fine -> Power Off -> Power On -> Sound Distortion -> Hard Reset -> Power On -> Sound is Fine -> Power Off -> Power On -> Sound Distortion and so
on and so on...
