    Sound cuts out in games - Series X


    Hi

    The sound cuts out every now and then during games. Mostly when the kids play plants v zombies or in star wars battlefront 2. Weird thing is the sound still works on the xbox home screen but not in any games played once its gone. It only works again after
    a hard reset (10 secs power button)

    Force closing the games the sound went in doesn't resolve it. Has to have a reset.

    Anyone else?

    XBOX Series X, newest patch....sound cuts out minutes after loading. Restart the game and it works for about 2 minutes then cuts out again. It is only the Marvel Avengers game and it is new after the Tachyon rift patch.

    Had the exact same issue with it being inconsistent as to whether it's cutting out in-game or in-menu. Is there a solution?

    Thanks for the suggestions. Think I’ve sorted the issue now. It was to do with hdmi settings, some of the visual output settings were wrong & I assume it was interfering with the sound output. For anyone else experiencing it, it’s a question of going in & making sure everything’s at the optimum settings for your tv

    If it didn't work, try using a headset and performing this configuration.

    Main button, go to the right on the system tab, and then enter the Audio option!

    See if the mic is activated

    And then put the 3 bars all in the middle, to test (if you have one in gray, blocked, let me know)
