Sound cuts out for 2 seconds, happens every hour or so

While watching tv or movies, the sound cuts out for about two seconds (not sure if it happens other times like games). Happens all the time, roughly once every hour or so. No other issues with sound. Haven't found anyone else complaining about it. Am I
the only one?

Add to the troubleshooting steps tried:

- Updated firmware for my Panasonic TH-58PZ700U to latest version

No less than 10 mins of watching TV, sound cut out.

Sound does not cut out for any other device connected to it.

XBOX One QA group likely did not test on this TV.

It looks like you've done a good bit of troubleshooting yourself on this issue, and have even sent the Xbox in for repair.As such I would have to agree that it's a compatibility problem with the television. Do you have an audio receiver that you can test
with? If so please test with that and let us know your replies. There is not a list that I have ever seen with compatible TVs. If it works with other TVs or Amplifiers with the same cabling then it's 100% something with the TV. I would contact your TV manufacturer
and see if there is any kind of firmware update or software patch that they can provide you. Also if you have an audio receiver I would see about using that for your sound rather than the TV itself.

 

I haven't seen this one Bugs.... Are you using HDMI for sound or Optical? How are you set up as far as components? Check out these two links as well.

If HDMI, make sure you cables are seated correctly. The X1 side has a deep socket that i have seen from my own experience other HDMI cables have a hard time inserting all the way. So if you can use the X1 supplied. Check if seated correctly if running thru
a AVR also. If all fails, try other cables. If running thru AVR make sure firmware is up to date. All in all, to me it sounds like a a HDMI hand shake issue. Good Luck!!

 

Not a cable problem. Happens without case (i.e., no "hard shake") Watch TV, DVD, Netflix, whatever. Will happen over and over. If you watch at least an hour, it will happen.

There are now others on here reporting the same thing.

Ideas????

 

Haven't given up... Started searching an answer and came across my original post.

I keep hoping the next firmware update will fix it.. Nada.

 

Same has happened to me but much more frequent(every few minutes) i now just use my normal cable to watch tv now. i gave up because all troubleshooting solved nothing.

 

I`ve nearly the same issue the audio and also the Video Signal is lost for perhaps 2 seconds.. but it happens not so frequently...

Now I`m in the preview and I^ve to look up if it still occurs...

Did you have it since new Update or since Day One?

 

I have the same problem, don't know what to do, bought my Xbox brand new last week and I'm sure all the cables are in the right place ect. I just want to know if there's anything I can do to fix this or do I return this to the shop?
