    Sound bar/Wireless headset


    So I just got a new soundbar and have my xbox series X connected to it. I plugged in my Plantronics rig 800lx headphones and everything works fine, however, when I turn the headset off it still thinks they are plugged in. I have to unplug the USB connector
    in the back of the Xbox in order to revert back to the soundbar and surround speakers. Shouldn't I still be able to keep the wireless headset connected and not have to unplug it everytime I want to use my regular surround system. The image is with my wireless
    headphones turned off. It still thinks my HDMI audio is headset format. Please help

    The standard wireless xbox headset sound is better then the standard xbox cable headset sound

    When can/will we be able to get REAL Headsets?

    While a headset may be better than the standard built in speakers on a television, they can't compare to a true surround sound system. By definition 7.1 is 7 speakers and a sub. Headphones do not have 7 speakers, they visualize surround sound like a sound
    bar. I personally have a sound bar and find it to be amazing. I far prefer to the sound to fill my living room and keep my headset just for chat when needed.

    May we confirm what do you mean on "Also I am hearing the Xbox noises and the noises from my pc."? When both of you are playing, the Xbox Wireless Headset switches audio from your computer to audio that came from Xbox Console?

    Or while you are in your game wearing your headset, you can still hear your brother's games sound?

    How far (estimation) are you from the Xbox Console? Is the sound of Xbox Console output to a sound bar or headset?

    Is this happening if you are using a different headset while gaming?

    How about connecting your mobile phone with Xbox Wireless Headset, can you still hear your brother's game sound?

    Good to hear, is this headset wireless to the point only wire is from headset to controller and sound controlled from a mixamp?
