    Why is it that I have to join game pass to finish the download of the definitive edition of SOTTR? I bought the season pass. I got most of the download but then it tells me to join game pass to finish it.

    No they are not. It just seems that if you paid out $30 for the season pass you would still get the full download. Why are they just trying to get you to spend more money on something you don't want. For me game pass or gold are not worth it.

    I bought the game when it came out and bought the season pass later. I just read on the Tomb Raider web site that if you own the game and the season pass you will get it for free. It said to download it from the store. It started downloading and then quit.
    It is more than half way through but won't finish.

    Are your Game Pass and/or Gold subscription up to date? Maybe it is looking for an online component.

    Do you own the game SOTTR or did you already download it with game pass?

    If you have game pass and it expires you lose access to the content you downloaded via game pass.

    Purchasing the season pass will not allow you to also download the game it is for; it is a separate purchase.

    I'll try that out. I just don't understand why I got most of it and it stopped.
