"sorry your purchase cannot be completed at this time"

services are back up and im currently unable to purchase of course red dead redemption after hearing the new BC, just wondering if anyone happened to have info on this. its saying exactly as the subject describes. tried multiple times now and checked card
info still good.

Backward Compatibility

Im constantly getting "Sorry your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again" whenever I try to buy any Backward Compatibility game. how do I resolve this?

All xbox services appear to be online and in working order - I am also receiving the same error when trying to purchase Red Dead Redemption.

An official acknowledgement of this issue would be fantastic. Other 'answered posts' regarding this error were marked complete saying "Check the Xbox Live Services page".

Microsoft should stop advertising about backwards compatibility until this s*** runs properly

 

I'm really upset that I can't get my hands on RDR, hope they'll fix the issue before the end of summer sale

 

Throwing my hat in this ring too. Getting tired of this nonsense when it comes to buying BC games from Xbox.com AND on Xbox One store too.

Putting it politely, get a move on Microsoft!

Oh well, there's always eBay or Amazon when it comes to getting BC games right?

 

How much are you willing to bet by the time they fix this the sale will be over. Even if it's not that expensive of a game, I will like to save a couple dollars.

 

They don't even bother fixing....I know they have to maintain a lot of stuff, but why not send a couple of people to resolve the issue, it's really frustrating.
