You may need to remove the account from the console and then try to re-download it back.

Also I recommend checking the email associated with the account to make sure nothing has happen to it.

not sure if I understand the issue, but a profile can only be signed in once, so if it is already signed in on the other controller, you will need to sign it out in order to be able to sign in with the second controller.

i think what you need to do is: make sure that both controllers are connected and signed in with an account, this doesn't need to be a live account so you can just make one up on the spot, then just press start while in a game with the second controller,

If you're looking to sign into another account while signed into yours you would only need to follow the same steps that you did when you signed into your account, but with a different controller.

If you have to sync your controller we have available articles for doing so in case you're unaware on how to
do so or just in case it's needed.

So connect a second controller, and then sign into a different account through the sign in or account tab within the guide menu, and if not presented with such an option, simply choose switch profile.

Try this and let us know if you get a second controller with an account signed in setup.
