There are three accounts on my Xbox 360 - my account which is an Xbox Live account, and my two children's accounts which are only local to the Xbox. I am trying to change the two children accounts to Xbox Live accounts in preparation for the arrival of
my shiny new Xbox One on Monday, so I can transfer their profiles and achievements and then sign them all up for Gold. However when I try to sign the accounts up to Xbox Live I get the above error message after I have entered all the details and accepted
the conditions. The green bar starts to fill up, but then it stops and gives the error message (no error code).

I have tried clearing my cache, turning the xbox off and on and still I get the error message

Any ideas or help would be appreciated!

When I tried doing an "initial setup" I eventually get error 8007065B - "Sorry, Xbox Live signup isn't available right now. Try again later."

 

How To Fix This:
Hello, I am here to answer your question as best I can so you guys can have a fun time on the Xbox One. One thing is to Hard Reboot you Xbox system to fully clear the Cache by following the steps I shall list below;



Step 1: Make Sure Your Xbox 360 is On

Step 2: Turn off your system and unplug the power cable for 30 seconds and then turn it back on



Easier Xbox Account:

The easiest way to make an Xbox account have gold is to create a NEW account and follow steps from there.

I'm assuming you tried the steps mentioned here:
support.xbox.com/.../offline-profile-to-gamertag

If so and you are still experiencing issues it may be caused due to an issue i've seen before, which is that offline childaccounts can't be converted to an online account. Not sure if this issue is still present, but if you want to be sure, my advise is
to contact Xbox Support via
support.xbox.com/contact-us to see if they have any steps to try and get this working

Also be aware that on the Xbox One console you have the option to share a gold subscription from one account to all accounts that use that same console via the Home Console setting.

I have recently purchased an xbox 360e and this is my first time of setting up xbox live.

I have tried several times now and with switching the console off, unplugging and starting again but still get this message. It takes quite a while to create an account only to fall flat right at the end with no error code.........HELP!
