I am having the same issue for several months. I have updated my payment but it is still happening. The strange part is I can download Xbox One games without an issue, it is just happening on 360 games.

I'm getting the same error message. I have been for quite some time. Its really irritating, and I'm feeling like I'm missing out on benefits that I've paid for. I'm usually pretty good at overlooking occasional issues, especially when it comes to tech
and electronics, but the consistency of this issue is really getting to me. Still hoping to hear something other than "turn of your console, unplug it....etc" or, "redownload your Gamertag". Both of those have done nothing to remedy the situation, plus, as
an avid gamer, those are usually the first 2 troubleshooting methods used before i even look for advice. 🤔

Sorry to hear it. There seems to have always been a bit of an issue with buying BC titles from the marketplace. You could try a factory reset on your console while keeping games and apps to see if that helps.

Otherwise, what I do is just get my BC titles from
https://xbox.com and then download them to my console afterwards.

I get the same error when using the website.

Other people are having trouble buying this same game and other titles that have been added recently. You should soon be able to buy the game normally.

I am getting the same message on the website and the xbox.

I missed sonic because of it.

It looks like on the website it says I have no valid payment data so I clicked to update it and got an error message.

I wonder if that is the details it cannot find. The payment data is corrupted somehow.

I removed all payment data on my Xbox 360 and added it back on to my account. This didn't change anything. I still get the same error. I know it has something to do with my account. I am completely unable to purchase any backwards compatible games on my
Xbox One. My Xbox 360 remains unaffected. This is preventing me from fully migrating to Xbox One. I have had this problem since the middle of January and there is no sign of Xbox doing anything to fix this problem.
