I've already tried power cycling my xbox one.

I don't have a kinect.

I have "allow broadcasts and game captures" checked.

I did everything telephone support suggested.

What's this, I'm a "preview customer" all about?

I double click the dashboard button and only get friendlist; I have to manually select game dvr and that doesn't work.

Game DVR Problems

Everytime I try to to record anything at all. Whether it's me saying "Xbox Record That" Or me manually starting a clip I get this message. Sorry, We couldn't record that. (0x8232300b). Is anyone else having this issue?

 

Xbox One game DVR will not record

When I try to use the game DVR feature an error message pops up saying: sorry, we couldn't record that. (0x8232300b)

I'll even say Xbox record that! Nothing happens.

Snap game DVR and try manual record and that's when I get the error message. Please help me!

 

Hi Fly, I will report this to the developers. If you are able to reproduce this consistently and if your running Xbox App (Beta) version, can you immediately report this issue by using the "Report a problem" in the app under the happy face located on the
left NAV bar? This will gather data from your system and report this to the developers to help with the investigation.

Fly, your problem may be that, that game that you are trying to record does not allow you to record or screen shot at that time, Some games are like that sadly especially alpha/betas.

If it happens to every game maybe you should look into it further.
