Sorry, the game cannot connect to xbox LIVE

Hi, trying to connect to community on forza 4 but get a message stating "Sorry, the game cannot connect to xbox LIVE. This feature cannot be used at this time." my internet and xbox live connections are fine. please help.

Profile can't connect to Xbox live

I've got an Xbox 360.

I'm getting the message 'sorry this profile cannot connect to Xbox live on this console. To fix it, download again'

I don't know what to do. The other profiles can connect.

Can someone please help me? I don't want to lose the progress that my profile has made in games though.

Are you on a 360? if so:

Are other games being affected? Have you checked your HDD for corrupt content ( check n profiles too sometimes that can have a corrupt file as well)? Who is your ISP? Is your connection wired or wireless?

If you do find corrupt content please delete it all ( you won't lose any content but corrupt saved games cannot be recovered on the 360 although they MIGHT be recoverable on the One by calling CS), clear your system cache THREE TIMES! Then powercycle your
unit (turn it off using the power button on your console then unplug the power cord for one full minute, timed). Turn the console back on and if the game was one you deleted re dl and try it again, if it was not but there were other files you deleted do not
dl them yet but try your game first. You can re dl other content later if you wish to do so.

I tried exactly as you suggested geovanie legend but I am still not able to really connect to Xbox Live. As a matter of fact I cannot log on to Xbox Live at all, even on dashboard currently. I tried turning my port forwards back on afterwards, but still
no luck. Also, running the connection troubleshooter, it says it is connecting to my network, the internet, and Xbox Live apparently just fine...with a service alert about the game marketplace.

And as for the redownload my profile..I tried, and it progressed 75% of the way through, and then said, "Sorry Xbox Live profiles cannot be downloaded now"

I have been having this issue for months and have been back and forth with microsoft and xbox live and I'm furious! I'm paying for Live and cannot reliably connect to the damn service! I pay for Netflix that we cannot watch and live that I cannot stay connected
to games to play! What the hell is going on??
