    My son's XBOX Live account expired on his Xbox one. I attempted to renew for a year through both the xbox and through account.xbox.com, and get the same error.

    His account used to be on my family account - we now have three separate accounts.

    I looked through the forums and they all recommended opening a new post to get support.

    Here's the error:

    Sorry, that's as many as you can have
    Only a limited number of these are allowed on any one account.

    That's the message I get when I try to subscribe to gold or enter a time code. Whether I'm using the console UI or this website.

    Been going on for a week now, can't play my console at all.

    I just tried the 1-month subscription and it worked. Seems like bull if that's what I have to do from now on. Membership just doubled in price if that's the case!
