Sorry, Amazon Instant Video isn't available right now.

Last night when I turned my Xbox 360 on, I was asked to update. I no longer can use the Amazon Instant Video app, it states "Sorry, Amazon Instant Video isn't available right now. Please try again later. For more info, go to www.xbox.com/status. Error code:
AP1001" I tried again tonight and it still says the same thing. I checked Xbox alerts and it says Amazon is up and running. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Amazon Instant Video Down

Instant video isn't working. I tried rebooting the 360, just to make sure everything was working OK, but it still isn't working. It is giving the error message:

"Sorry, Amazon Instant Video isn't available right now. Please try again later. For more information go to
www.xbox.com/status.

Error code: MP1032"

The status page states that Amazon is up and running. There isn't any additional information for that error code. I tried several different videos, so it seems to be systemwide.

I'm also having the issue and i,v tried everything but it wont work! But xbox is having issue, it says that amazon is fine but this has been happening to me since they posted that they where having issues.

Snap. Been working fine up until I downloaded the update this evening.

 

All the same here. Stopped working after the update. Does anyone know how to contact Xbox about this situation

 

Got The same thing going on. contacted xbox and they played dumb like it was amazon's fault but I can watch amazon all day long, just not on my *** xbox! Has anyone heard anything or been able to fix the problem?

 

Hey, guys! I'm sorry to see so many of you affected by this. The frustration caused by not having access to your video streaming is no fun. The error code AP1001 is an Amazon specific error code. That being the case, I think

reaching out to Amazon for a resolution for this, especially since it seems to be more common after an update that they pushed out, would be the best bet here.

If they are able to provide you with a resolution, please do not hesitate to post it back here! It will help us gather information about this specific error code, and help others out that may have this error in the future!

 

Ok. My apologies to xbox/amazon. both customer service teams worked well with me and the problem is fixed. Any one having this problem, I contacted Amazon and used the CHAT options to get help. They turned my issues over to their tech team and my Amazon
works today on my xbox 360.
