    Sooo, did Microsoft get DDOS'd?


    If you haven't seen it so far, all Xbox One services are down right now......Did Microsoft get DDOS'd again or something? I'm curious about what happened. It seems like just more and more systems are shutting down and the problem is getting worse, and I'm
    just wondering if somebody blew a breaker over there, or if someone just shut you guys down...

    I would say that what happened was an inside error.

    My 360 services went down yesterday and gave status codes 80072741 and 807B01F7 - So I went to the PC to check, and everything Xbox related would only show a blank screen.

    I then googled "Xbox Down?" and IGN had reported some 2 minutes before I did the search that in fact xbox was down.

    I think the problems they've been having isn't related to anything/anyone outside xbox, but rather inside as they seem to be constantly trying to tweak their systems.

    For on the 360 for about a week, games and apps are showing "Xbox Live" images with Youtube, Netflix, AC Black Flag etc written along the bottom of the apps as opposed to the actual images it used to show. And is still that way on my 360.

    I bet it's Microsoft tweaking stuff to be ready for Windows 10

    If it were actually MS doing it, I would have to imagine they would notify people online of a planned maintenance and that the network would be down for a specified time. That did not happen.

    If it were actually MS doing it, I would have to imagine they would notify people online of a planned maintenance and that the network would be down for a specified time. That did not happen.
