Sooo could any one help me?

I have a buddy who let me buy his xbox one from him. Everything worked fine for a little while. Then awhile back I went to put a game in and I got the "insert disk" error. I wasn't to worried about it at first. I managed to get it to read disks again
but in a strange way. I have managed to get it to read a disk first time every time by picking up the front end of my xbox one and holding it at a 90 degree angle. I was just wondering is there anyway to have this fixed, Thanks.

It is not advised at all to place your Xbox One in any other position than horizontally

 

Yea I read that awhile back when i first started to have the problem. My xbox is always flat but the only way it will read a disc is if i hold it at the 90 degree till it reads then I can set it but down normally.

Sorry you're having issues with your drive. As Feared said, not keeping the Xbox horizontally is going to do more harm than good, and could potentially scratch discs, or even get one stuck inside. My advise is to use the link below and have your console

Power cycle the console? That worked for me when I couldn't get the console to read disks anymore?
