Sony Pulse Elite Headphones without the audio adapter and no game audio?

There's no such thing as a Sony PULSE Gold headset. It's either the Gold headset (without the Pulse features), or the Pulse Elite (came out last year). If you really own both, which I doubt, you'd know.

I also own both and honestly, there's no way the Xbox One Stereo Headset has better audio quality. I know audio quality is subjective but there's a limit somewhere.

Shouldn't have any effect on the audio coming from the chat adapter. The available audio settings should only effect the HDMI audio and optical out audio.

In game audio options will effect the audio quality of headsets or headphone using the chat adapter as the audio source though.

Do the Beats Solo HD's work with the XBox Stereo Adapter?

@Aox Chap - what did you have to do in order to get your studios to work? I just received my adapter a couple of days ago, and while it works perfectly (no static, no sound drop offs etc) with my Sony Pulse Elite headsets, I can not use the mic to send
chat audio on the Beats Solo HD's.

If your Elite dates back to before September, 2009, it included a thin AV adapter dongle that fits in the AV port alongside an HDMI cable and provides only optical and left/right audio out.



If you want to try HAY HAY Its MDA,'s suggestion you'd use that adapter and plug the optical audio out into the optical audio in on the Sony Home Theater device.



If your Elite was purchased after September, 2009, it lacks the adapter. I wouldn't worry about it unless your home theater reports LPCM instead of 5.1 for the incoming audio signal from the 360 while in-game.

No Xbox console has ever used Bluetooth to pass audio. You cannot use bluetooth headphones without an adapter of some sort.
