Sony MDR-IRBT Headphones

Hi, i have a set of Sony Bluetooth headphones with a built in mic, It works fine on my pc, but when i plug the cable into the MS headphone adapter the mic doesn't work, Anyone got any Ideas? Thanks

Need help ,my mic isnt working.

The headset is a Sony Mdr extra bass.i also connected some earbuds to the same controller and they worked. But why arent my headphones working. i can hear through them. im lost here can someone help...

 

It doesn't sound like that type of headphone is compatible with the chat adapter. I believe it needs to be a cable running between the adapter and the headset.

I would presume one of the issues is a bluetooth set does not get enough power from the headset jack to work properly.

 

You can also use them as ordinary wired headphones, I have the cable running from the headphones to the adapter but only get the game sound,

 

Is the microphone for this headset in-line (on the actual headset cable)? I know for other headsets this means the microphone won't work for the Xbox One.

 

The Mic is built into the earpiece, but thanks for the replys But I've ordered some HUHD gaming headphones
