Sony Headphone + Xbox wireless dongle on computer

Hi All,

The various forums don't seem to have the answer to the below question.

When using the Xbox wireless dongle for Windows 10 on a P.C. can a Sony WH-1000XM4 headset be connected to the computers built in Bluetooth chip simultaneously.

All the posts are about using the controllers audio jack or connecting an Xbox headset to the Xbox Dongle for Windows 10.

Before making a purchase it would greatly help to understand if the Wireless dongle will operate and allow windows to put the audio through a Bluetooth wireless headset.

Yes, that should work. If you have 2 Bluetooth devices connected to the PC at once, you can choose to send the audio to your Bluetooth headset. In theory, it should work.

Actually the Tritton Warheads are the only true wireless pair of headphones you can get on the 360 since Mad Catz bought the exclusive rights. With that being said though, I still prefer Astros.

And even if somebody told you the Sony headphones will work on the 360, they could never do voice chat even if it is true. Besides. Sonys official headphones are garbage anyway.Pulse Elites are 150.00 and can only pull off 7.1 virtual surround from a 2 channel
source. Further more, Sony has a scam going on with these headphones. The wireless USB dongle is the size of a flash drive and if you lose it or it malfunctions, they do not sell a replacement You now have a 150.00 pair of ear muffs.

Not directly. You will need a 3rd party dongle that is compatible with your Xbox One S in order to use wireless headphones and headsets.

Wireless headphones are a bit difficult when it comes too Xbox due to the communication protocol they use. Most 3rd party headphones require a dongle to the Xbox and even then they will probably need to be connected to the controller via a 3.5mm.

Personally, Im currently happy with my SteelSeries Arctis 9X and the rest of their headsets are pretty decent as well.

Hello my computer is updated and the clean boot did not work.

BUT deleting my Bluetooth headphones drivers fixed the problem. You might want to look into that (I have sony WC-CH 500 wireless headphones, which drivers were messing with the recording). Luckily i dont rely on these headphones.
