    A dedicated headset for Xbox is definitely sure to work best. That being said, I've had success with the adapter using regular headsets as well. Depending where you buy it from, you could always try the adapter out and return it if it doesn't work.

    Xbox one won't control my AVR.

    I am having the same issue with he Sony Str-DH800. In setup it recognizes the model # but doesn't do anything after that as far as tests to see if the signal is working.

    I have the same issue as well. I have the Sony Bravia X900E 65 inch and it's doing the same exact thing. When i turn HDR off the picture actually looks better.
