    I recently purchased a Sony Bravia X720E 4K UHD TV (KD-55X720E) and for some reason when I set up my Xbox One S, I keep getting a message saying “your tv setup doesn’t support HDR10” when, after some investigating, it’s actually supposed to support HDR10.

    The cable that comes with the Xbox One S comes with a high-speed cable and is plugged into the TV.

    Is there a way to fix this problem?

    can't stream 4k tv content through xbox one x

    Copy and paste of what I wrote in CT, might be relevant to you :

    One thing for anyone with a Sony TV (though it might apply to other brands). When I checked 4k capabilities through the X it said limited even though my TV is capable of everything. Apparently you have to go into external input settings and change it from normal to enhanced to allow hdr10 for whichever hdmi port you use. I don't know why it's not default, but if anyone else has a bravia will save you some googling lol.

    The STB is a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 4250HDC

    The setup is STB -> HDMI Cable -> XBOX ONE -> HDMI Cable -> Sony Bravia
