Sons turtle beach cod phantom headset transmitter will not power on atall

hi all, my son has turtle beach cod phantom headset with transmitter which worked perfectly on his Xbox one.

Done an Xbox update and now there is no power to the transmitter atall. The actual headset powers on but the transmitter has no power, so will not work with headset.

i have unplugged usb power cable from Xbox and transmitter and optical cable. Turned off both Xbox one & headset

connected all back up & still no power from the transmitter. He has only had since last Christmas and waiting on reply from turtle beach.

can anyone help atall?

Xbox one update has caused headset transmitter not to work!!!!!!

my son has a turtle beach headset with rf transmitter. The transmitter is plugged into a USB port on Xbox one and paired with headset.

we had a update on Xbox one and now the transmitter will not turn on atall. Have tried other USB ports and still no power to transmitter. Also tried on PC USB and again no power. Have gone through all steps to try and reset headset but no power to the transmitter.

if this was a cheap headset I would not mind but it cost £200 plus extra £20 for controller adapter.

it was purchased in December 2014 for Christmas present and has only been used a hand full of times, worked perfectly till now when have gone to use it.

It seems the Xbox software update has caused this and see many others have the exact same problem which does come down to Microsoft Xbox one update to the console. The headset works but needs the transmitter for receiving sound so at the moment have a expensive
headset that's hardly been used,still just like new and a broken transmitter due to Xbox updates So cannot use headset. I would like a reply regards this matter please

 

Xbox One and Turtle Beach Transmitter Conflict

When I upgraded to Xbox One from 360 I started having wireless connection issues. I also noticed that my Turtle Beach Ear Force X41 headset transmitter was also having issues. To make a long story short. I found that if I unplugged the headset transmitter
usb power cord before turning on my xb1 I was able to get connected immediately. I could then replug headset transmitter and voila everything was back to normal. Bottom line there is obviously a conflict between the older Turtle Beach transmitters and xb1.
I guess its time to upgrade my headset.
