    Sons gamertag breaches Code of Conduct


    Hi, my sons gamertag name is [Mod Removed]. I have attempted contacting live person chat, Erin, the representative was not very helpful with this issue. And it breaches the xbox live code of conduct. I do not know how his name got by the system but it is

    GamerTag force changed for no reason!

    I already took that step, and I am aware of the code of conduct that I agreed to. However, when explaining my point of view and intent of the choosing of my Gamertag, this is no longer a code of conduct breach.

    it got by cause he changed the the spelling of one of the words. it is best now to change it yourself by paying 10 bucks or it will get a forced name change (which puts an enforcement flag on the account) and you would still have to pay 10 to change the
    name after they change it to a random generated one anyway.

    I would rather have them change it automatically. As a sort of punishment for such an obscene and offensive name. Teach him a lesson. I'm not going to pay for his actions. If the flag gets put on there then so be it.

    Someone would have to file a complaint on his account via the console in order for the enforcement team to investigate and issue a forced name change. It can still take a while for a forced change to go through. When they give a forced change, they will
    give him a randomly generated tag, not one that he'll get to choose.

    And that would be fine. I understand the randomly generated name. And I'm ok with it. He's not but that's what he gets.

    No, someone would have to report him via the console. That's the only way to file a complaint on account. You could try posting in the suspensions forums, but that forum is generally only for people who are trying to find out why they have been suspended.
    It's the only forum the enforcement team posts in so they may see it and go ahead and do something, but they generally only take reports via the console.
