Sons Fortnite won't load

Hello my son hasn't been able to play his Xbox one Fortnite game for 3 weeks. He updated it but it still wouldn't load. So he deleted it and reinstalled it but it still won't load. When he tries the loading bar doesn't come up and just sends him back to
the home screen. Any ideas please? Thank you

Fortnite won't load

Since I got the new Fortnite update, everytime I go on to it, it goes back to the Xbox home screen. I don't know if this is a problem with Fortnite or Xbox,so I thought I'd ask here. Epic is taking a long time to reply to my email. I've tried restarting
the Xbox and stuff, but it's still not working.

I've seen other having similar issues as well. Have tired to do a Restart on your Xbox One and also check the account status on Xbox.com

This sound more like an issue with the Epic servers. You may want to try contacting them.

Please go to My Games and Apps and select Fortnite and uninstall it. Then go to the
Ready to Install section and select Fortnite and Install it back onto your Xbox. Then try and launch the game again.

9 times out of 10 this resolves most issues regarding games not loading, because there is generally a file which has become corrupt.

Hi, Mike. Please remove the game from your console.

After that, disconnect your external drive and perform a physical power cycle by disconnecting the power cable:

“Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important, Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

Plug the console power cable back in.
Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.”

Finally, install the game on the internal console storage. All this, without connecting the external drive again.
