Sonic Gwnerations save file issue

Discus and support Sonic Gwnerations save file issue in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Today, for some reason, Sonic Generations had an update.     Today, for some reason, Sonic Generations had an update. When I did the update it made my save file unreadable. Did anyone else have this issue.

    i have the prefect solution to fix corrupted save files for good in games

    I'd like to replay Sonic Generations from the beginning but I'd have to surrender my 100% completed save file.

    Aye to multiple save slots.

    Glad they added this fix. My save file got corrupted (would you believe) 18 times. I hope this will really fix the issue so I can play the game without any worries.

    Hi shadowhive! Let's work on this together.

    Does the issue happen to other games or just this one?

    Do you still have the Xbox One? Are you able to play the game there just fine?

    Let's try to clear the game's local data on your Series X to see if that fixes the issue.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide and then select My games & apps > See all > Games.
    Highlight the game title, and then press the Menu button on your controller.
    Select Manage game and add-ons > Saved data.
    Select Delete all to remove the local save of this game, then follow the prompts.
    After you delete the local save, restart your Xbox:
    Press and hold the Xbox button in the centre of your controller.
    Select Restart console, then follow the prompts.

    Does this also keep dlc? I had all the DLC for Battlefront 1 and Sonic forces, so does it keep downloaded content in regards to the save files?

    Yeah, that's not the problem, the problem is INSIDE the game with the save file downloaded and detected by the game but it don't want to open it. I've created a fukin giant Metal Sonic by the love of god what a bad luck...

    Sonic generations ON DEMAND, disc error?

    Clear the system cache and then test the game:
    support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

    If clearing the cache does not work try deleting the game and then downloading the game again. Go to settings - system - storage - select your hard drive then select games and apps. Go down to the game and then select the game file and delete it.

    Then Press the center button on your controller, go right to settings and select account management. Select Download history and then select sonic and download again for free.

    Test the game and see if it works. If you are still having an issue I would recommend deleting the save file and any other files in the sonic folder.

    If you are still having issues with the game then call xbox customer support. They will be able to help resolve the issue.
