    Song credits in XBox Music pass for Windows 8.1???


    I have the Xbox Music pass with the 10 song credit option (the one that is no longer being offered, but continues t work as long as you renew). In Windows Phone 8, I can choose son credits as an option when buying music, but not so in the Windows 8.1 app.
    How can I use my credits in this app???

    Music Pass on Windows 8 not working (charging for music)

    My wife just upgraded her Windows 7 computer that used Zune software to Windows 8.1 with Xbox Music. But when she goes to look at Music, it wants to charge her for anything. It is like it doesn't see her XBOX Music pass.

    She just uses one Microsoft ID so what is wrong?

    Also, only some of her songs play on her new devices. Is this a migration guide for moving from Zune software to XBOX Music?

    If these were songs you downloaded with the Xbox Music Pass, then this is by design. You can't continue to access those songs after your Music Pass expires.

    Music Pass credits can only be redeemed with WP8, WP7 and the Zune software. They're .mp3's though so you can transfer them to your PC after their downloaded to your phone.

    Cannot play music to XBOX 360 through XBOX Music App

    The setup did work before 8.1

    I have attempted to play this music via smarglass but one of the songs in question was not downloaded using my XBOX Music pass. It is a unencrypted MP3 file stored on my computer. When I try to play it via smartglass it does not play. I see there is an
    exclamation point next to the song but no error message is displayed. It seems that my XBOX will only play my music in the cloud.

    As of 01 Aug 2014, error code 805A0193 is displayed when I attempt to stream any song from any of my playlists.

    As of 01 Aug 2014, only a 30 second sample is played when I attempt to stream any song not currently added to one of my playlists.

    This was not a suggestion but a question. Is it really true that playing music from my PC on my surface is considered 'streaming' and is counted against the monthly 10 hours? (question)

    #2 - so even if albums are recognized in Windows Media Player, the will not necessarily be recognized by the Windows 8.1 Music (xbox music). IF that is the case, then I certainly hope the final version of Windows 89.1 RT will be shipped with a some fully
    working music player (meaning, one that recognize all the albums) version
