    Hi I've a Live Gold account. My son is 11 years old and uses the same xbox360. He allready have a profile and he's added to my family. He want's to play Plants vs Zombies but he's required to connect to Live....can he play Live games or does he have to buy
    a separate live Gold account??

    i got my son xbox live for christmas my other son wants to play on the same system with my first son is this possible? or do i need to purchase another xbox live acount? and could they play on the same system?

    Hello, I just wanted to add to Smwutches answer. If you were to purchase an Xbox One console you could set your gamertag as Home on that console and add your son to your family. From there all your games and gold membership would be shared to him on that
    console only.

    There are a lot of Xbox 360 games that are now backwards compatible on the Xbox One with many more being added all the time.

    Thanks for replying! But i have a question I set my younger sons Xbox (The one with Xbox Live) as home Xbox but my older son still couldn't use Xbox live and then we tried putting my younger sons profile in my elder sons Xbox to see if it worked and it
    worked for a bit but then stopped working. Please help.

    Nice to meet you! My name is Christian, an independent advisor. I'm here to help you out.

    Based on your story, your sons would each have their own Xbox correct? To share Xbox live gold between your two sons, Son A must set his account as Son B's home Xbox on Son B's own Xbox. Son B can then use his own account and not Son A's account to access Xbox live gold pass. Now Son A on his own Xbox must use his own account since it is the one that purchased Xbox Live Gold to access Xbox live gold pass. Both your sons must use their own respective accounts moving forward to be able to play at the same time. In case you need further clarification, please refer to this article. Here is the link.

    As others say to you, you can easily share your Xbox Live Gold subscriptions.

    Power On your Son's Console -> Download your Profile (you need email and password of your gamertag/account) -> navigate to Settings page and set your Son's Console as HOME for your Gamertag.

    In this way your Son can use your Xbox Live Gold and play online without problems.

    Your Son have also access to your game/DLC library (digital purchase).
