Son has credited the wrong account

I believe that you cannot receive a refund of money already deposited in your account, I suggest that you contact support so that they can explain it to you better, I always knew that you can get a refund of purchases or subscriptions that you have made but not deposited money. I have the same question. I signed into my son's account. He has $60 worth of GCs loaded as credit into his microsoft account. When he signs in and attempts to purchase a game for $49.99 it only offers the options of Pay Pal or credit card. When the approval is sent to my account, it askes how I would like to pay for the game; Pay Pal or Credit Card.

How do I use the credits in my son's account to purchase the game?

Seems unrealistic that I have 3 children and would have to purchase the game for each of their accounts.

Also, how would I make the purchase using my son's account? He doesn't have a credit card of his own and I don't want to enter my credit card to his account.

Also, on my son's previous PC (windows 10) this did work. I could log on to his PC with my user account, download the game from the microsoft store, and then my son could play it on the same PC (when logged in with his own account).

So what am I doing wrong?

My son preordered red redemption 2 in august and it has since been declined with no account credit back and no game. Its stating it needs to be paid for again. What is gping on?
