Discus and support son cannot access xbox gold account in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I purchased xbox gold for my son, but he can't access it.     I purchased xbox gold for my son, but he can't access it. When he goes on his xbox it doesn't allow him to play because it says he needs xbox gold. Any help would be appreciated.

    Gold on 360 and One

    I'm having some issues at the moment with Fifa 14 and multiple gold accounts on the XB1.

    My account with Gold is on the XB1, my son who has XB360 in his bedroom also has gold. But after installing FIFA14 under my profile and then adding my sons XBL gold account, I can access the online part of the game, but my son gets the following message:

    "your gamer profile does not have the correct permissions to access this feature"

    Should we both have access to FIFA14 online? Or is it restricted to the profile that downloaded it?

    1 Gold Account for the whole family

    My son has a gold membership on his 360. I don't have a gold membership. If I add my son's profile to my new Xbox One, then it will give me gold membership as well?

    Did you redeem/purchase the gold on his account or did you add it to a different account? Are you using a 360 or a One?

    EA Access - shared multiplayer access on Xbox One with Live subscription

    My Microsoft account has:

    Xbox Live Gold

    EA Access on XBox

    Both paid subscriptions.

    My son has his Microsoft account:

    Family share my Xbox live Gold

    he has access to the EA Games I have downloaded but cannot get multiplayer access with his free EA Games account. Such as Mirrors Edge 2, he can play but cannot get extra options "shared".

    I'm asking if that is a possibility to login into EA Games under my sons Xbox/Microsoft login to give him access without causing any conflict in licensing.

    Just seems confusing in that nothing is clearly stated in the official offerings around this capability. So I'm trying to get clarity. Again thanks for the help and deciphering all of this.

    Please help. Cannot share gold account on home xbox with child account.

    My xbox gold account's home xbox is the model S. This lets my Son play the games I have purchased.

    I use the model X signed in as my gold account. This is my Son's home xbox.

    My son uses the model S signed in as his gold account, this is MY home xbox

    My daughter tries to sign into the model X (my son's home xbox who has a valid gold account) and it says she needs gold to play online or join a party etc. She should have access to gold because this is my son's home xbox who has an active gold subscription.

    I have XBOX Live Gold Membership under my gamertag, how do I link my son's gamertag under my membership?

    Are you trying to give your son access to your gold membership? If so that cannot be done unless you are member of a family plan.
