    Sometimes Can’t connect to console through streaming


    Hi there

    I’m just wondering if anyone know why I sometimes can’t connect to my console through either the Xbox app on android nor the Xbox streaming test app on windows 10. I get the error “console found but cannot connect. Check WiFi/network”

    I have nasa like internet, literally connected to the backbone of my country’s network (both receiver and Xbox) with ping to speedtest of 1ms, 12 ms to google and 7 ms to Facebook and 1gbit up/down on WiFi, a bit better in on cable (1,10,5), but neither works when it stops working.

    It will work for complete gaming sessions at the time, then next day or a few hours later it won’t, even tho I do 0 changes, and then a day or a few hours later it will work again. Any suggestions/explanations?

    Ps: stadia/GeForce now works fine.

    Sorry to hear it. I've had this same issue with my mixer streams. It's not you or your console though. Sometimes you need to refresh the stream page a couple of times for it to come through.

    I'm sorry but that will not be possible because you need to be signed in first on your console for you to connect.

    We can't sign in through console streaming.

    Check that your Xbox One console allows Xbox app connections. You’ll find this on the console by going to
    Settings, selecting Preferences >
    Xbox app connectivity, and then selecting Allow connections from any device.

    Also check that your Xbox One console allows game streaming. You’ll find this on the console by going to
    Settings, selecting Preferences >
    Xbox app connectivity, and then selecting Allow game streaming to other devices.

    If you still can’t connect, try restarting your Windows 10 PC and your Xbox One console.
