    Dear Nathan, I followed to your advice and I got the page: Microsoft Family Safety I saw that my son's profile is not ready but is on the status: member on waiting, request sent to user (my son's Microsoft email's address for signing ) and when I choose the option accept right now and I am redirected to son's email address and when I signed in I was again redirected to page where is said: 'This account requires parental or guardian consent' which I confirmed and I will log in with a Microsoft account and consent is given then I would log in with a Microsoft account and gave my consent to be redirected to my Microsoft log in and then the page told me to wait and the message appears again: something's not working, It's not you, it's us.

    The issue started with only one of my sons, but eventually it happened to my second son as well. In troubleshooting the problem when it only affected one of my sons, I noticed that the non-affected son was listed on the "Manage consent" page**, but the affected son was not. Both remained listed on the Family Safety page as long as they were in my family group. Once both sons were affected by the problem and I began troubleshooting, including removing them from the family group and re-adding them, neither appeared on the "Manage consent" page any longer.

    (**I assume the "Manage consent" page is what you mean when you say "Manage permissions?" Correct me if I'm wrong on that.)

    My concern is the same as the previous thread, except now it has expanded from one son to both sons.

    Answers to your questions:

    1. Can you please send to us the screenshot of the error message? I'm not sure which error message you mean exactly, but I'll post what the Family Safety page looks like for each of my kids. If needed, I can also post screen shots of the message I see when I click on the "Fix it" button, and the dead end message I get in the Microsoft Store on the Xbox itself when I try to follow those instructions.
    2. Just want to verify the two son's account are all minors in t system? Yes, they are minors.
    3. When did the issue started? I noticed it first in the weekly activity summary email for one son in late September or early October. Despite the error message, his ability to actually play did not seem to be affected, so I didn't pursue it for a week or two, figuring it might work itself out. My first post on the matter was on this page, if my memory is correct.
    4. The one having verification issue, is the one that is not listed, right? Both sons are now having the verification issue, and after all of the troubleshooting, removing them from my family group and re-adding them, etc., neither son is listed on the "Manage consent" page.

    The 'manage permissions' link when trying to change a child account withing my family group is broken. It just opens an empty page with no accounts.

    It finally works! I was able to change his age!

    What I did was add my sons email account to my phone which prompted me to give consent for his account. This seems to have reset things. I have no idea why this happened or why I wasn’t given any notifications.

    Once I confirmed that I was the parent, I went back into the family settings and his name appeared this time.

    It only took me 6+ hours to get it working. What a mess.
