Something wrong with my gamertag?

Today, I went on my Xbox to play GTA, when I got a message saying "Sorry, but something went wrong with your gamertag". I signed out and back in and didn't get the message again. So, I went on GTA and played career mode for about 5 minutes and I was going
to send my friend a message when I was disconnected and got an error message saying "Sorry, this feature is unavailable". I logged off and I'm going to wait awhile before I log back in. Does anyone know what this means? I've had xbox for about 6 years and
live for about 2. Thanks!! c:

Mafivve might be right closed it from unautherized user's from ur wifi.

Yea, online gaming doesn't use much at all. Did you perhaps download any updates before starting the game?

If this is that gamertag that you are trying to play with, it is not gold. You are showing as a free silver account.

You can try to download your profile to the console and see if that corrects the problem.

Are you still having an issue with your GT showing incorrectly?

Sometimes it takes a couples hours, maybe even a few days, for it to be fully synced with the system. And update it. If it doesn't change by then. I suggest doing what Juan van said, and redownload your profile.
