    Something Went Wrong


    There’s been a problem with my Xbox since yesterday night and it involves the “something went wrong” message with those error codes. Basically what keeps happening is that every time I start up the system, the screen is on and does say go full black,keep
    in mind that I see no app or the home menu anywhere at all, then I hold my home button to trigger some options and it tells me “what do you want to do?” It gives me the option of turning off the console, the controller, reporting the problem, or close. I click
    “report a problem” and it takes me nowhere and I keep clicking it so that option is out. I click “close” and it takes me back to the “something went wrong” message with two new option of “close” or “report a problem”. I click “close” again and it does the
    exact same thing and keeps taking me back to the same message. I decide to click “report a problem” this time and it takes me back to the same screen with the “something went wrong” message again and the same options. I don’t know what to do. This has never
    happened to me before; I mean I could just hold the home button and take me back to the option to turn off my console and I could just turn it off. However when I restart my console, but the same process that I just described above keeps happening over and
    over again. It’s frustrating.

    I tried to log in to my dow 2 game today but I needed to enter my password. I then enter in the password many times but it did not work. I was think to myself WTH was going on. Then I logged in to my live account but it needed to be verified to my gmail
    account... so I didn't remember my gmail account password. I decided to use my hotmail account. When I went to change it I didn't change @live to @hotmail.com. Now I have lost game Xbox live gaming account...

    WHAT CAN I DO TO GET MY ACCOUNT BACK?

    I'm starting to hate all the hoops I have to go through. I'm thinking about leaving live for good...

    Are you able to try entering the code on the console? Press the Guide button on the controller then scroll left and choose Redeem Code. If you get an 8 digit error code post it here.
