Something Went Wrong

There has been a problem with my Xbox since yesterday night and it involves the “something went wrong” message with those error codes. Basically what keeps happening is that every time I start up my system, the screen is on and doesn’t go full black, keep
in mind that I see no apps or the home menu anywhere at all, then I hold the hold button to trigger some options and it tells me “what do you want to do?” It gives me the options of turning off the console, the controller, report the problem, or close. I click
“close” and it takes me back to the “something went wrong” message. I click “close” and it does the same exact thing and keeps taking me back to the same message. It also gives me the option of reporting the problem again but even when I click that option
it still reverts me back to the same options again with the same “something went wrong “message. I don’t know what to do, because it won’t let me do anything else; I mean I could keep holding the home button and then turn off my console, but when I restart
my console, it’s the same situation over and over again. It won’t let me play my games at all and it’s really frustrating.

I tried to log in to my dow 2 game today but I needed to enter my password. I then enter in the password many times but it did not work. I was think to myself WTH was going on. Then I logged in to my live account but it needed to be verified to my gmail
account... so I didn't remember my gmail account password. I decided to use my hotmail account. When I went to change it I didn't change @live to @hotmail.com. Now I have lost game Xbox live gaming account...

WHAT CAN I DO TO GET MY ACCOUNT BACK?

I'm starting to hate all the hoops I have to go through. I'm thinking about leaving live for good...

 

I can't get on xbox one games. I keep getting an error message. Could you please tell me what is wrong?

Lets go ahead and clear the consoles cache by holding the power button on the console for 8-10sec. till the console completely powers off. Afterwards, please power the console back on to check if the console has booted to the 'Home' screen. If you're still
having trouble with getting the 'Home' screen to load, please try to power-cycle your console. Please take a look at
How to restart or power cycle your Xbox One console for instructions on doing this.

We tried these steps and each time the system goes to the green animation screen, then to a blank screen with a message saying "Hi", then back to blank. We cannot get to any other reset or home screens.

We contacted the help desk last night and they said that

"We have been receiving the same reports from a number of players experiencing the same error code you have provided. You don't have to worry about your console as there is no problem with this. We will work on fixing this right away."

Are you aware of this issue getting attention?

In this case lets go ahead and try to boot your console into recovery mode. Please be sure that the console is turned off before you begin. To boot an Xbox One into 'Recovery Mode' press the Xbox Power button + Disc Eject button + Sync/Bind button on the
console all at the same time for about 10-15sec.

You'll be given the option to completely reset the console or you can do a USB Offline System update Restore Factory Defaults.
