Something went wrong with your party.

So recently, I was playing on Xbox One in a party with my friend. I went to go do something for about 2-4 minutes. I come back and see that it says something like something is blocking you from your parties. Then it tells me to go to the Xbox live communication
privacy settings. Nothing was wrong with it. I made sure that "Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites" was set to Everybody or Friends. When I pressed Everybody or Friends it would say "Try again There's a temporary problem with the service. Please
try again." And so I did, same response.

Later on, I tried to start a party and invite me friend to it. Once my friend joins the party it kicks me out of the party saying that, "Something went wrong with your party. Try again later. [0x80072EE2]" Then again I tried again later, same response.

Finally, I tried turning off my Xbox One then turning back on my Xbox One. Nothing happens, same response. Then, I also tried restarting my Xbox One, nothing happens and same response.

Please help me if you can. Thank you for taking your time to read this and attempting to help me.

I need help when I try to start a part or join a party all that comes up is try again later with a code that reads 0x800C0005 I need help I can't even start a party or join one.

Hi,

There currently is a service issue affecting party chat. They're actively working on getting it resolved now. In the meantime I would suggest you keep a look out on the service status page or sign up for a text message to be notified when the issue is resolved

-Please try hard reseting your console (hold the power button on the console for 8-10sec. , and power back up) that seems to help resolve it for some users.

I'm having the same exact problem. I tried inviting him to my party but apparently it says I'm offline and it wont let him join.

 

Same thing happened to me about 15 minutes ago.

 

yup. getting kicked from games too.

Alright thank you. On your Xbox One, Please go to Settings>>All Settings>>Disc & Blu-ray>>Blu-ray>>Persistent Storage>>Clear.

After that, please press and hold the power button of the Xbox for 5-10 seconds until it completely turns OFF. Then please unplug the power supply.

After a minute, please turn ON the Xbox console. It should work then.
