Something went wrong (while redeeming the code)

I have a problem redeeming my 12 month xbox live gold code

every time i try to redeem it (on the console or on pc) it gives me the error message - Something went wrong, please try again later.

I tried to change my regional options, i tried to make a new account...nothing works

and Yes the code is correct

Im redeeming the code but its always tells me " Something went wrong try again later" all the time can someone please help

Solution is to change your location to UK or USA depending on where you live. You should try both, worked for me.

Also do the codes match the country on your account?

Hi, just bought xbox live 12 tried month membership, when i type in code it says "something went wrong" gives me a code for xbox help which also gets me no where. Talked to support and they said they were unsure of the problem and that they could not even
find my gamer tag on their end. Very frustrating.
