"Something went wrong" when trying to redeem EA Access

I have been trying for the last day to redeem a code for 1 month of EA Access. I input the code, and it verifies that it is indeed for 1 month of Access. When I click "redeem" I get:

Something went wrong
Give it another try. If this happens again, let us know by entering the code below at xbox.com/errorhelp so we can investigate.

Are you trying to redeem via the Xbox dashboard or the website?

I had 7 months left on my gold but it was trying to tell me that i didnt have anything. so i went through the help chat and they just disabled my live and gave me a code for a new 7 months and now the codes wont redeem. it keeps saying that something went
wrong and to try again later

I too have the same problem.

I was attempting to type in an EA Access code which is in fact valid, and every time i try to redeem it it gives me the same error code.

I already checked, and I have no outstanding balance, I'm in the correct region, and my billing info is fine.

I am sharing XBL Gold with another family member, and as such am not paying for my own XBL Gold anymore.

 

Are you still having this problem? I just got an EA access code from costco and it's giving me the same error.. 1 min before I successfully redeemed an xbox $25 gift card from costco, but it doesn't like the Costco EA access one. I've tried it on both my
console and logging into web site with my account.
