Something tells me the "closed" beta wasn't so closed after all

Thanks for all the ideas. I finally leveled up after picking a lock, so guess the meter wasn't as close to full as i thought it was.

That must be a joke… i bought it twice and I was supposed to be able to play the beta, this is why i pre-ordered the game for €70, i could’ve get the game for €40 by my own but I payed €70 for a game which was supposed to allow me to play the beta but I
couldn’t and now you tell me the beta’s closed.… will there be at least an open beta before its release ?

Close is the keyword here.

I agree that having a public beta is a huge help with smaller issues that can turn big. Why more big titles don't do it is always the big question. I'm sure there's a reason. But even if there is a beta, there are still issues that crop up post release. A beta
is not a catch all solution.

I liked the last Homefront, it reminded me of Battlefield bad company 2, this wasn't even close even giving allowance the beta, infact IMO it wasn't even upto indie game standards, it was just pish.

ugh Homefront..... I was pretty hyped for that game. I never got to try the closed beta or the demo so I picked it up & was really disappointed. it wasn't the worst thing I've played but it wasn't worth all my attention when there were better online games
(Bad Company 2 & MW2 at the time)
