Something seriously wrong with my brand new Xbox One S

Bought a brand new xbox yesterday, my first problem I noticed is that it took a FULL DAY to download a 50gb game. I was getting peak download speeds of 12Mb/s. On my PC, iPad and Phone I am getting speeds of 80 Down and 20 up from my ISP. Yet when I connect
wired & Wireless to this new xbox its giving me 11 down and 11 up.

My second problem is I recovered my gamertag onto the xbox, and I am seeing no gamerpics of my friends. Its just a dark box with a outline of an avatar, I cant see any pictures of the home screen of games or anything!

I have hard reset the xbox numerous times, reset my router numerous times, deleted and added my gamertag to the xbox again. Changed from Power saving mode to Instant on mode. I am getting no luck.

15 hours to download a game?

Hello, I`m just get a Brand New XBOX ONE, só i got to the store and Buy Battlefield 4 .. from this point i had to wait more less 15 hours for a download? Are you kidding me?

There`s something wrong with my XBOX ONe?

No it was a regular 1080p tv, I think it's the graphics card.

 

This is the problem I am having right now with the avatars and stuff, i've also attached a photo of my true speeds today from my ISP which I am not getting on this new Xbox.

 

Will that delete my games? I am off work today and can't have a game downloading for a full day again, this is a brand new xbox out of the xbox yesterday.

 

The power cable on the xbox was unplugged all night, i'm assuming that resets the cache yes? If so yeah I have reset it

no, for erase cache you must hold xbox button on the console until the console turns off completely

when the console is off, you must unplugged all cables and wait a few minutes

 

I turned the xbox off last night and unplugged the power from the back, which would clear the cache? So I dont know

If it still doesn't fix the problems you might return it to the shop you bought it from because they might given you a damaged console

 

Same problem, even the xbox live gold sign does not show or the Fifa 19 picture.

 

what are your network stats on your xbox?? (I see it)

do you open the xbox live ports on your router??

also, if you do a network check on xbox, what is the message??

 

Hi as stated, if its brand new it will be under warranty. I would contact the shop you purchased from.

 

I should not need to open any ports, my old original xbox works perfectly fine. It is just this new one I bought yesterday that is having trouble. I am going to return it and try a new one.
