Something buggered up

So I can connect to Xbox live and the connection is good and everything when I do the test in the network settings but when I try to use one of the services I'm practically rejected. Tried to join a party, does nothing. Tried to start a party, does nothing.
Played a game, lagged to all hell. What I don't get is that my Internet is fine and im having no problems on other things but xbox and whats worse is that sometimes when i turn it on i cant even get online (though at my rate being online is useless) this has
been going on for a day now and i wanna know whats up

Edit: I have checked the status and saw the error with 360 and i would like to inform that im on xbox one

This was working for me, but now I am losing connection quite a bit. This dashboard update buggered up something royally for everyone.

 

Microsoft points change buggered up

Hey, since Microsoft had the simply genius idea of scrapping points for your local currency (something they should have done a long time ago) I can't help thinking they've buggered it up. I've converted my points into pounds, which is great, the one problem
is it won't let me buy anything with them, it's saying I have to connect a credit card, which is not going to happen. What's the point of still being able to buy gift cards if they crappy system won't even let you use them?!

Is there a way around this or will it take some time for Microsoft to realise they've messed up?

 

Sorry to hear it. Can you please try power cycling your console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down then unplug it and let it sit for 5 minutes.

During this time you can also unplug your modem/router for 5 seconds to reset it as well.
