support.xbox.com to try and see if they can help you. the only other thing i can think of would be to format the external hard drive to your xbox and reinstall the games but that should be the last solution if you cant get it to work.

Solution 1: Make sure you’ve installed any recent updates to Xbox One

It’s possible that there were recent updates to Xbox One and that you need to manually update your system for it to detect your external storage. To update:

1. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide, and then select System > Settings > System > Updates & downloads.
2. If you see Update available, there’s an update you need to install.
3. After you’re done installing the update, go back to Settingsand select System > Storage. See if your device appears in the list.

If your storage device still doesn’t appear, or if there were no pending updates, try the next solution.

Solution 2: Adjust the power management for storage if you’re in instant-on mode

Check your power settings. If you’re in instant-on mode:

1. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
2. Select System > Settings > General > Power mode & startup.
3. Confirm that your Power modeis set to Instant-on.
4. Unselect the option When Xbox is off, turn off storage.
5. Restart your Xbox, and then go back to Settings and select System > Storage to see if your device now appears in the list.

Solution 3: Other things to try

If your Xbox One still isn’t detecting your external storage device:

• Remove and then reconnect the storage device.
• Connect the device to a different USB port on the console.
• Power cycle your console:
  1. Press the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds.
  2. Turn on the console again, and then see if it detects the external drive.

Its not that its hidden on a filter my games are legit missing from the drive like if i go to settings storage and then sodom (thats my external hard drive name) it will show the memory space is used up but nothing is on it i cant transfer games to the
internal or nothing

Hey hope everyones haveing a good day so i got a problem was hopeing somone anyone could help me outi looked all over but nothing so far!?!?! So my issue is none of my games or dlc are showing up on my xbox now i use a external hard drive but the
thing is on my brothers and friends xbox all my stuff shows up i can play it all but when i go back home and plug into my own xbox it says the hard drive is empty it says no games available but all the memory space is still used up and like i said my games
are still there cause i can play thrm on everyone elses xbox but just my xbox doesnt see them and it wont let me redownload them cause it says there already installed and i cant delet them cause it says i dont have any games to click on in the memory unit
so what do i do why doea it work everywhere else but not on my own xbox how would i go about this please help me out

So the first thing i can recommend is on the dashboard click on my games and apps then click on see all. After that look at the far top right corner and click on the filter icon that should be to the left of the search button. Once there you should see 4
options now go to the last option and make sure "all storage" is selected. If it's set to internal it won't show you what's on the external hard drive. I hope this helps, the only other thing i can think of would be to contact xbox support at https://beta.support.xbox.com/
