Something all need to think about...

Here is a perfect example

It is all well and good to report issues to the Twitter Support account. But I wish sometimes they would notice that we are trying to make them aware of something. Above, is the link to a post in the Gamer Parents forum. I
don't know if it is true or not. But would like to take this person's issues seriously.

Also, it is something all of us would need to think about all of our digital accounts across the Internet. I passed this along to them and they said "Thanks" and just went straight to asking about myself(if I had any issues).
Maybe sometimes the community just wants to alert them to something and nothing more.

Lastly, as this issue is not something just confined to Xbox and gaming. The issues facing this person and all of us could happen anytime. Go search about this issue and find ways to protect your content for those that survive
you.

okay. lets say you buy micro transaction currency. now when you die you lose money. so will you lose the fake online money you just bought with real world money every time you die? that's messed up.

 

I find it fairly abnormal to keep passwords secret from a loved one. My other half has all my passwords and i hers just incase something happened.

 

My wife has access to and knows the passwords to all my accounts and everything else. That real world and online. People blame the company's for not having things in place for these eventualities but people in this world need to take responsibility for there
own mortality. One day we will all die. It is not someone else's responsibility to to take care of your problems, even after death. While I do have sympathy for this woman's predicament, it is the fault of her husband for the problem. Not Microsoft. It seems
unfeeling and harsh but it's just the way it is.

 

i dont give my passwords out to anyone, relationships may not always last forever and i imagine an angry lady could do a lot of damage with my passwords lol

My dad knows my bank account password and that's about it, when i die my account dies lol

Woman may come and go, but is just as easy to change a password as well. Would be the first time I've been through that situation.

Like i say its not so important for me, no ones gonna need my xbox account anyway, nor my facebook bar to tell people i am brown bread, if i change passwords i will be *** its hard enough to remember the 3/4 i use at the mo and they have been my passwords
for a long time if i change em now as i'm getting older n losing more of my marbles i will be up shits creek without a paddle lol

Here's what I would do: Don't share the passwords with the family - ever. At least not until after your dead, because once you're dead, you won't need it any more, right? I would put any password information I have in my final will and testament. That way,
I maintain complete control over MY virtual possessions while I'm alive and give it to my loved ones after my passing.

 

Man everyone is fairly paranoid if they don't even trust their loved ones!
